The festival also honored actor and producer Jeff Bridges (The Big Lebowski) with the Socially Responsible Conservationist Award, for his new documentary ‘Living in the Future’s Past’ which premiered at the festival in the presence of the makers. The mandate of the festival is, Honoring Stories Worth Telling. #Tagged won out of 110 New Media Films & Content from 40 countries with 36 World Premieres, 7 US and 26 Premieres.
Part of the main prize is a series of personal meetings with Hollywood big players, such as HBO and Marvel. “What a tremendous honor to win this prize,” says Martijn Winkler, scriptwriter and director of the film, “and an opportunity to pitch my ideas for new films and series here in LA is of course crazy.
