In April, NYX Professional Makeup received thousands of video entries; from there, a panel of judges selected the 30 semi-finalists. After creating looks inspired by the challenge themes, "Royalty," "Animal Kingdom," and "Cyberpunk," the semi-finalists were narrowed down to the top six finalists via rounds of public voting.
