Eurasia took part in realization of 34 space projects
JSC Insurance Company Eurasia took part in insurance and reinsurance of 34 launches of space satellites out of 78 launches in the world, the agency reports citing the press service of Eurasia.
“Eurasia during the last year participated in 34 space projects. 78 launches have been made in the world in 2009. 127 space satellites have been put into the Earth orbit. Thus, JSC Eurasia took part in insurance/reinsurance of 34 launches of the space satellites out of 78 launches in the world in 2009.
According to the press service, the insurance company Eurasia has experience of insurance/reinsurance of all stages of space risks, including ground risks of the owners of space vehicles, preparatory work, launch risks and operation in the orbit.
“Among the insured by JSC Eurasia space satellites are Herschel, Planck, Express train AM-44, Hot Bird-10, Eutelsat W2A, Koronas-Photon, Meridian-2, Sirius FM-5 and many others.
