Hi, I’m writing on behalf of the 464 Quartermaster
Company, currently located in Kandahar, Afghanistan. We are looking to
provide between 100 and 120 soldiers with internet access. I was curious as
to which system and service would best fit our needs. Also, we would like
to know what signal the system runs on in order to get approval. I was
wondering if you could also clarify the difference between C and Ku band.

i would like some information for satellite internet
service for one computer (my own) here on kandahar, im a military
contractor and have internet connectivity via the mil network but want a
commercial connection…. if you know of someone on kandahar who already
has the service and is willing to use a wifi extender to bring it to my
location that is ok also… if not i would like some info on a system for
myself (equipment cost, monthly fees, etc….)

We are currently stationed at Camp Bastion
(leatherneck) in Afghanistan. I see that you provide serive there. How does
my company access this serivice for personel internet for our soldiers?
What do you we need to do and how much would it be?

and SPAWAR in MWR. Both are slow depending on user load (20kps download). I
need portable sat net, fast broadband for my online schools and army
training.

Do you offer packages that are affordable for
single-person orders, or for use of only a few people or are most of them
designed for more users? My unit is moving from Camp Liberty (where there
is decently reliable internet access through MIT) to Camp Charlie, where I
hear there is very little internet access. I would like to know what
options are available for only a very small usergroup.

Tigris is the only internet provider for the troops
in the IZ Baghdad, Iraq. We are looking to provide competition to in order
to lower the prices of this service.

We are looking to wire a FOB with commercial Internet
for approximately 900 people. During high times, we would probably have
350-400 people online at once. Users want to be able to do VoIP, webcam,
streaming media at a speed comparable to that in the US. There is also the
potential to do the same thing at five other FOBs that are about half the
size of the main one that we want to provide Internet to, so there would be
175-200 on at once during a high period of use.

and still play games such as World of Warcraft and use IM webcam

I’m looking into gettin internet services out of
Afghanistan for one of our companies. I would like to get a quote for
start-up. I would also like to know whether there is a requirement for a
contract. Once the internet services have been provided are the monthly
rates for the internet services going to remain the same. I need a quote
this is what we are interested in. We want the 10:1 ratio (Second set, for
