Vizada Networks Bought And Installed A Flexible Satellite Hub System From iDirect Inc.

The system will deliver affordable Internet access across Africa and the Middle East, the companies said.

Herndon-based iDirect, a subsidiary of VT Systems, informed that the hub will also support Vizada Networks’ corporate customers operating in those regions.

Vizada installed the iDirect hub at the Nittedal Earth station in Norway. In 2006 it installed two iDirect hubs at its earth stations in Southbury, Conn. and Eik, Norway.

“With the flexibility and built-in features of iDirect’s universal hub, we can capture a broad opportunity while meeting our customers’ growing demands,” informed Stefano Vittor, CEO of Vizada Networks.
