Satellite communication services deliver Satlynx has enhanced its media streaming platform with wider availability across Europe, a range of pricing options and increased bandwidths. Satlynx Media Streaming is a transportable video and audio platform crafted to address the market for capturing live events for further distribution online and on air.
The platform comprises equipment that can be installed into and on almost any vehicle. Satlynx Media Streaming now offers pricing options from per minute, per hour or per day tariffs to monthly packages and bandwidth options from 128 Kbps to 4Mbps. Primarily aimed at online media, as well as radio and TV stations in need of “light” news gathering, the service can uplink both video and audio whilst supporting access to a contended downlink channel for production applications such as e-mail, web browsing and coordination VoIP.
